Project Overview:
The International Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (IESCO), based in Malaysia, is dedicated to transforming lives in poor and disadvantaged communities through aids and scholarships. To support their mission, IESCO required a professional and emotionally engaging multilingual website that could effectively communicate their initiatives, facilitate donations, and provide valuable information about scholarships, news, and programs.

Project Scope:
I was tasked with designing and developing a medium-scale website using WordPress, tailored to reflect IESCO’s impactful work. The project involved creating a visually appealing platform with integrated donation capabilities and multilingual functionality, ensuring accessibility to a global audience.

Key Features & Technologies:

1. WordPress Platform:
   WordPress was chosen for its versatility, scalability, and ability to handle complex functionalities. It provided an ideal foundation for building a feature-rich website that is easy to manage and update.

2. Emotional and Engaging Theme:
   A carefully selected emotional theme was implemented to resonate with IESCO’s mission of compassion and transformation. The theme’s design elements were optimized to inspire action, whether it’s learning about programs, applying for scholarships, or making donations.

3. Multilingual Support with WPML:
   The website was made accessible to a diverse audience by integrating the WPML plugin. This enabled seamless translation of the website into multiple languages, making IESCO’s message and initiatives accessible to a global audience.

4. Donation Process with Payment Gateways:
   To support IESCO’s fundraising efforts, I incorporated a donation process that integrates multiple payment gateways, including PayPal, SenangPay, and Billplz. This setup provides donors with secure and convenient options for contributing to IESCO’s mission.

5. Advanced Page Design with Elementor & Elementor Pro:
   Using Elementor and Elementor Pro, I designed highly customizable and visually compelling pages. The drag-and-drop functionality allowed for flexibility in showcasing IESCO’s programs, success stories, and call-to-action elements.

6. Dedicated Scholarship Page:
   A dedicated page was created to provide detailed information about scholarships, including eligibility criteria, application processes, and deadlines. This ensures that students can easily access opportunities to further their education.

7. News and Programs Sections:
   Separate sections for news and programs were developed to keep visitors informed about IESCO’s latest updates, achievements, and ongoing initiatives. These sections enhance transparency and engagement with the organization’s audience.

Design Approach:
The design aimed to evoke empathy and drive action, reflecting the core values of IESCO. A clean, responsive layout was paired with emotional imagery and persuasive messaging. The website was optimized for mobile devices to ensure accessibility across various platforms.

Conclusion:
By leveraging WordPress and a combination of powerful plugins such as WPML, Elementor Pro, and multiple payment gateways, I delivered a multilingual website that aligns with IESCO’s mission. The site serves as a central hub for fundraising, scholarships, and program information, empowering IESCO to connect with donors and beneficiaries worldwide.
